1945 - Harold L Shuff
Harold L. Shuff, 81, of Tiffin, died Friday evening, December 5, 2008, at Mercy Hospital of Tiffin.
On August 7, 1927, he was born to Frank and Flora (Shook) Shuff in Tiffin.
On September 18, 1948, he married Dorothy Bare in McCutchenville.
She survives in Tiffin. Harold graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School.
On May 23, 1945, he joined the U.S. Navy, serving his country during World War II on the CB Main Unit 618.
He retired from American Standard in 1988 after 44 years of employment as a production control manager.
He was a life member of Eagles Aerie 402, life member of VFW Post 2858 and member of AMVETS Post 48. He was an avid golfer.

Charles B. "Parky" Parkins, 81, of Tiffin, died Monday morning, November 10, 2008, at his home.
Aug. 27, 1927, he was born in Tiffin to Boyd and Leona (Shelt) Parkins. May 24, 1947, he married Florence Anderson.
Charles graduated from Columbian High School in 1945 and Tiffin Business School. He had a 35-year career in banking as a loan officer at First National Bank and Citizens Savings and Loan, retiring in 1989.
