The Class of 1966 will be holding it's 40th year Class Reunion October 6th and 7th (2006).

October 6th (2006) is the date for the Homecoming festivities, football game, and a get-together afterwards at the Knights of Columbus Hall on E. Perry St. Saturday we will have an informal dinner at the Amvets, (used to be the Fireside Restaurant) on S. St. Rt. 100. Social hour 6:30pm-7:30pm, dinner at 7:30, short meeting at 8:30, then music/socializing until midnight. You will receive a letter with information and a registration form. It will be $25 per person, same cost as it was 15 years ago. That includes buffet dinner, rental of the Amvets, printing costs, postage, payment for a DJ, and hopefully a few dollars left over as a basis for the next reunion. Hope you can make it. Does anyone out there know of anyone from the Class of 66? I have lived on the West Coast for quite a few years and have pretty much lost contact with all my old friends. Kept looking and looking for any information about Class Reunions for that graduating class, but to no avail.

I got a kick out of the post about Halloween Memories, I too remember the old house that everyone thought was haunted. Some of my friends and I took a dare that we couldn't stay in that house over night. We were all jumpy and nervous, and just to make things worse, the ones that dared us to try did everything they could think of to get us rattled; i.e. chains rattling on the floor, creaky boards, you name it. We made it through the night and won the bet, A Big Boy sandwich, fries and a coke at Frischs.

Just browsing the Tiffin websites and ran across the alumni one.  I am Susan (Schroer) Woolwine, class of 1966.  Please add me to your list!  Everyone should remember me if they remember the Dairy Isle (now the Shake Shack).  Really would like to hear from Marching, Pep, and Concert band members.  Best 4 years of my life; think they will agree.

Hey, let all band alumni know that each year the Columbian Alumni Band performs at the first home game of the season.  We meet on a Sunday afternoon about 2 or 3 weeks before the event and practice the music that will be performed that first game.  "Smile" is always the song we march out on the field with.  Yes, Mr. Hawk leads us during practice and is there at the field helping us remember how to march across the field.  What an exhilerating feeling to be out on that football field again, hearing the cheers from the stands!  How great to sit and talk with the present band members and watch them perform!  The Columbian Alumni Band is open to all alumni--we have members who graduated in 1945 all the way up to 2003.  Always have a pizza party after the game.
