The good intentions of site and web page developers is such that they expect you to see what they want you to see. But, this "just ain't so" in many cases. Here is an example. The Columbian School web site link on "Athletics" requires the PDF file processor (Adobe) to view the Sports Schedules. Adobe is not designed for use as web pages. Adobe's "pdf" (print document format) files are designed for printing and printers. Only as a courtesy to the viewer do the browsers launch the Adobe Reader to display the file on your monitor. There is nothing "wrong" with this, but my version of Adobe doesn't match the one the Columbian Techincal staff used to develop these printable files nor the browser I use (or you may be using) to "view" the files. In my case, I get two error message before I can see the Sports Schedules. For that reason I made some GIF image files that all browsers can process. To view these Sports Schedule files Click Here.
